Requirements for a manager (leader) in the transformation process.

A transformation process manager must combine strategic thinking and excellent communication skills. Key requirements are leadership skills to guide employees through change and the ability to define and prioritize clear goals. Experience in change management is essential, as are strong problem-solving skills.

A high degree of empathy and persuasiveness is necessary to overcome resistance and create a shared understanding of the vision. Without comprehensible goals, teams lose orientation and motivation.

One major mistake is underestimating the corporate culture. If managers ignore existing values and behaviors, conflicts arise that hinder success. In addition, the importance of emotional aspects, such as employees' fears or worries, is often neglected.

In addition, the role requires strong project management skills to efficiently manage resources, timelines and risks. Many managers overestimate their resources and underestimate the time required. Unrealistic schedules lead to overwork and a loss of quality. Another common mistake is to approach change superficially instead of rethinking processes in a sustainable way. Ultimately, a transformation manager should also be a role model by practicing openness, adaptability and a positive attitude towards change.

Es ging vollkommen unspektakulär um gemeinsame Projekte und Projektakquise. Ein normaler Beratungstag …. Aber: Wenn man als „Karlsruher“ nach Frankfurt kommt, erlebt man offene Weihnachtsmärkte. Weihnachtsmärkte sind für mich eine der schönsten Institutionen und kultureller Treffpunkt in der Advents- und Weihnachtszeit. Uns trennen ca. 120 km und trotzdem Welten. Als gestandener Manager, Unternehmensberater und Investor bin ich es gewöhnt, Probleme und Fragestellungen aufzunehmen, nach Ihren Ursachen zu untersuchen und Maßnahmen/ Handlungen darauf aufbauend zu generieren. Mit dieser Logik erzeugen wir Veränderungen, überzeugen und nehmen die Menschen in unseren Projekten mit.
